It’s cosmos season!
I went to visit a field of cosmos flowers.
We were allowed to take some flowers home, so I brought one little flower home with me, feeling that we were meant to meet.
When I got home, its petals had wilted and drooped, looking so sad and lifeless.
I quickly trimmed the stem and placed it in water, almost as if I were praying for it to recover.
Within about 30 minutes, I watched it come back to life right before my eyes.
The life force of a flower is truly amazing.
Nature is such a wonderful teacher.
